• Online Returns Only: All items purchased in-store and online must be returned via our RETURN PORTAL! We do not accept physical returns or exchanges at the store.
• Email Receipt Required: A valid email receipt is mandatory to initiate any return or exchange.
• Shipping & Fees: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs to our warehouse. A $8 processing fee will be deducted from the final refund amount.
• Eligibility: All standard online return/exchange eligibility rules apply.
• Rejected Returns: If your item does not pass our condition inspection, it will not be accepted. You may request to have the rejected item shipped back to you at your own expense within 30 days of the rejection notice. Unclaimed items after 30 days will be responsibly discarded.

Effective Sep 8th, 2026, our return processing fee has changed to a flat rate of $8. For any returns processed prior to this date, the previous $3.50 fee will apply.

Once we hand your package to USPS/UPS/FedEx and they scan it in, they are responsible for getting it to you. We're a small brand — we can't absorb carrier mistakes the way Amazon can.
If you want coverage until final delivery, please add shipping protection at checkout.
Please note that Sundae School will not be liable for any lost/stolen shipments that do not have a shipping protection. If you purchased package protection with your order and your package is lost, you can file a claim here.

We legally must ship within the time advertised — or within 30 days if nothing is stated.
If there's a delay, we'll notify you + give you the option to cancel for a full refund.

Your package protection covers shipping mishaps caused by carriers during transit. It is added to all orders by default, but you may remove it on the cart page before checkout. Please note that once it is removed, we're unable to assist with any shipping-related issues.

Your package protection also includes a free return label, meaning the cost of the return shipping is covered if you choose to return or exchange your order. However, it does not cover restocking fees charged by our third-party warehouse, as these are not related to shipping mishaps, nor overrides final-sale eligibility. If your package is lost and you purchased Package Protection with your order, please file a lost package claim here.

Once a package is marked "Delivered", our delivery obligation is complete under UCC § 2-509 & § 2-510.
If it says "Delivered" but you can't find it:
1 . Check with neighbors/building staff
2 . Contact the carrier to file a claim
3 . We'll support with any proof they need
We cannot refund, replace, or reship delivered packages.

Lost Before Delivery:
If tracking stalls or there's no delivery scan, please contact the carrier for a "lost package" investigation. We'll help with documentation.

Undeliverable Packages:
Wrong address / refused / unclaimed → you cover re-shipping.
Original shipping isn't refundable.

First of all, we're so sorry that your item arrived in less-than-perfect condition 🥺. While we don't currently offer repair services, we'll do our best to make this right for you.

Please email us at counselor@sundae.school with clear photos or videos of the issue, and our team will assist you as soon as possible.

Need an extra button?
Most of our garments include extra buttons inside the item. If your item did not come with extra buttons, feel free to reach out to us and we'll be happy to help.

Lost the extra buttons or your order was delivered over a month ago? You can still request replacement buttons for a small shipping fee.

We'll match a lower price with store credit within 7 days of purchase if:

• The item is identical (size/color)
• In stock
• Sold full-price at sundae.school or an authorized retailer
• You provide proof (screenshot/link)

Not eligible:
Flash sales, discount codes, bundles, promos, unauthorized resellers.

Adjustments:
Issued as store credit only, per UCC § 2-209 (contract modifications require written agreement).
Once store credit is issued, the transaction becomes final sale.

We don't ship globally right now.
We recommend forwarders like Forward2Me.

Risk of Loss — UCC § 2-509 & § 2-319
Once we give the package to UPS/FedEx/USPS, you own the risk.

Breach Exception — UCC § 2-510
If we ship the wrong item or defective goods, risk stays with us until fixed.

Modifying Rules by Agreement — UCC § 1-302 (former § 1-102)
We can change the default rule only by written agreement.

Shipment Timing — FTC 16 CFR Part 435
We must ship within stated/30 days or notify you of delay and offer refund.
