We accept returns & exchanges!

What we accept:

  • Unworn, unwashed, undamaged items

  • Returns & Exchanges within 14 days of delivery

  • Items showingĀ any wear (makeup, deodorant, perfume, etc.)Ā won’t be accepted.

Restocking Fee (5%)Ā covers inspection, re-packaging, and re-shelving required by our third-party warehouse.

Refunds are issued after the item arrives and passes inspection.Ā Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Refunds to the original payment method incur the return-shipping and restocking fee; store-credit refunds incur fewer fees.

If your item doesn’t meet these criteria, we’ll hold it for you to reclaim at your expense.

To stay afloat as a tiny team, we follow this rule consistently:

If you used a discount code, preorder code, or bought during a sale/markdown → your return will be issued as STORE CREDIT ONLY.

This applies to welcome codes, preorder codes, seasonal sales, etc.

Refunds (original payment method) are ONLY for full-price, non-discounted items.

And they include:

  • 5% restocking fee

  • return shipping

  • non-refundable original shipping

Final Sale:

Sale items, underwear, swimwear, socks, masks, hats, accessories.

Not accepted:

Items with makeup, deodorant, perfume, wear, or damage.

If something doesn’t meet return criteria, we’ll hold it for you to reclaim at your expense.

🚚 SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Free U.S. shipping on $300+.

Orders ship in 3–7 business days (Mon–Fri).

We rest on weekends + holidays to stay human.

You’ll get a tracking email when your order ships.

Risk of Loss (UCC § 2-509 — in human words):

Once we hand your package to USPS/UPS/FedEx and they scan it in, they are responsible for getting it to you.

We’re a small brand — we can’t absorb carrier mistakes the way Amazon can.

If you want coverage until final delivery, please add shipping protection at checkout.

Please note that Sundae School will not be liable for any lost/stolen shipments that do not have a shipping protection.

If you purchased package protection with your order and your package is lost, you can file a claim here.

ā° FTC SHIPPING TIMING (16 CFR § 435)

We legally must ship within the time advertised — or within 30 days if nothing is stated.

If there’s a delay, we’ll notify you + give you the option to cancel for a full refund.

šŸ•µļø MISSING OR STOLEN PACKAGES

Once a package is marked ā€œDeliveredā€, our delivery obligation is complete under UCC § 2-509 & § 2-510.

If it says ā€œDeliveredā€ but you can’t find it:

  1. Check with neighbors/building staff

  2. Contact the carrier to file a claim

  3. We’ll support with any proof they need

We cannot refund, replace, or reship delivered packages.

Lost Before Delivery:

If tracking stalls or there’s no delivery scan, please contact the carrier for a ā€œlost packageā€ investigation.

We’ll help with documentation.

Undeliverable Packages:

Wrong address / refused / unclaimed → you cover re-shipping.

Original shipping isn’t refundable.

šŸ’ø PRICE MATCHING

We’ll match a lower price with store credit withinĀ 7 days if:

  • The item is identical (size/color)

  • In stock

  • Sold full-price at sundae.school or an authorized retailer

  • You provide proof (screenshot/link)

Not eligible:

Flash sales, discount codes, bundles, promos, unauthorized resellers.

Adjustments:

Issued as store credit only, per UCC § 2-209 (contract modifications require written agreement).

Once store credit is issued, the transaction becomes final sale.

We don’t ship globally right now.Ā For orders $777+, email us for case-by-case approval.Ā Duties/taxes/customs are the customer’s responsibility.
